How do I register a new user?

First steps:

  1. Fill out the WritFiling Application form
    to become a user.
  2. If you need an RSA token, fill in the Personal Security License and RSA Token request form.

Note: These forms must both be faxed to 416-360-6069.

If you have an activation code:

Note: You will receive your activation code in an email when your account has been associated with an organization.

  1. On the home page, select Register a new user.

The Activation code page opens.

  1. Select I have an activation code.
  2. Enter the activation code in the Activation code field.
  3. Select Continue.  

The Register user page opens.

  1. Follow the prompts on-screen to enter your account details.

Note: Signing authority can only be granted to a lawyer in good standing.

  1. Select Create.

You will receive an email with the next steps for your registration request.

If you don’t have an activation code:

Note: Your activation code will come from Client Services when you register.

  1. On the home page, select Register a new user.

The Activation code page opens.

  1. Select I don’t have an Activation Code.
  2. Select Register new user.

The Register user page opens.

  1. Follow the prompts on-screen to enter your account details.

Note: Signing authority can only be granted to a lawyer in good standing.

  1. Select Create.

The username will be added to the account, and the user can update their profile details or request signing authority.

Note: You must be added to an organization by the Organization administrator in order to access writ functions in the application.

You will receive an email with the next steps for your registration request, including your Activation code.
